Bryn Derwen: The Lander/Pomeroy Ranchette

December 18, 2004

Still stuff to do. We are looking forward to actually coming up to the house when there is something we HAVE to do. This was a quick turnaround to get the Christmas tree and decorations in order for the following week. The solar is on and we are generating our own power. We look forward to the day when everyone has to do this in California (or wherever it is sunny). It is painless and responsible.

The top photos you can make out the solar panels. They are low profile and not really that noticeable. The bottom left is Margaret in front of the house. The bottom right photo is from about 8 am when the temperature was still in the 20s. There was frost covering the poor Prius (she's at 9500 miles already).

Before Shot of Site

This is the dirt from the road (Herdsman) looking up at the future site of house. Yes this is the view we fell in love with (there were wild flowers in March 2002).

Any suggestions for viewing can be sent to Margaret
