June means the weather gets a bit cloudy and gloomy at the
beach. But for us June also means it is Cherry season for a
few weeks. We make our annual pilgrimage out to Leona
Valley for the Cherry Festival. This is a real slice of
small town California agriculture the way it was in most of
the state not too long ago.
